NYELA HAND

Nyela Hand was born in New
York City and was raised by
Missionary parents. She
attended Bible College and
worked in the Church for
many years. To support her
vocation she worked at many
jobs, among them, Interior
Decorator for Sears, Graphic
Liason for a private
Advertising Agency,
Marketing Specialist For an
International Corp. and as
Assist. to the Director of PR
for Sprint Corp.

She has had a life long
interest in photography, art
and design and has worked
with her husband, Bob Hand
in his illustration and design
projects. After many years in
South Flordia she and Bob
moved to Johnson City to be
nearer their children. They
are both members of
Watauga Valley Art League
and continue to work in their
home studio, which is located
