June Campbell Simmons, artist, was
born in the Tri-Cities area but spent
most of her adult life in Washington,
D.C./Maryland/Northern Virginia where
she worked as a marketing/ Promotions
Specialist. During this time, her love of
art was always around and she spent
much of her leisure time in Washington
art galleries and "dabbling" in art with
various instructors.

In the early '90s June moved to South
Florida where she began to seriously
pursue a career in art, studying under
well known artists, Linda Relis and Helen
Terry. Now she continues to study and
to paint in her studio in Telford, and in
Jonesborough, Tennessee. With full
support of her husband and children,
she now spends many happy hours as a
truely full-time artist still "dabbling" and
still loving it.
