ARTIST BIOGRAPHY for KAREN A. FOOTE Karen A. Foote, resident of Johnson City TN, is an artist creating works in watercolor and photography. Her realistic works reflect the beauty and color in the world around us. Her goals are to continually challenge her skills and abilities through ever changing subjects. Through ongoing education, she continues beyond her original studies at Indiana University (B.S.), The Art Institute of Chicago and The University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne IN (M.A.). Karen has been awarded “Best in Show” at the Newell Hendershot Watermedia Exhitibion 2009, and several other awards in the past few years. She is a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society, The Arts Depot (Abingdon, VA), and the Watauga Valley Art League.
