League Meetings: Meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 2:00 PM at the Johnson City Senior Center, 609 East Myrtle Street. Each meeting will feature a guest speaker or program. June 26 - 1:30 to 4 - Sunday Awards Reception (with awards at about 2:30) with music by Tracy Herman. Public invited. Seventh Annual Newell Hendershot Watermedia Exhibition at Sycamore Shoals Park, 1651 W. Elk, Elizabethton, TN Show Chairmen - Barbara Jernigan, and Patsy Reading 743-7799 Judge: Lisa Boardwine Exhibit August 6 thru August 26 in Main Gallery of the Visitor's Center at Sycamore Shoals Historic Park. Members of one of the four listed art organizations may enter: Tennessee Watercolor Society, Bristol Art Guild, Kingsport Art Guild or Watauga Valley Art League. This is a judged exhibit. Saturday, August 6, from 10:00 am to 2:00 free water media demos at Art Fair (to be announced) Noon - bring your lunch to eat in the park. August 6, from 2 to 4 Opening Awards Reception. Public invited for Art Domonstration and Reception. Watercolor workshop "Abstract Beginnings with Realistic Finishes" by: Lisa Boardwine August 26 -27 (Friday & Saturday) 9 AM to 4 PM and August 28 (Sunday) 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Cost is $150.
